what is chess knight?
Join us at Chess Knight: Every Thursday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM for our blitz-style chess tournaments held at Kiln in Lehi. We are a USCF affiliate.
Beginner's Advantage: Before the Chess Knight Tournament kicks off, we invite beginners and novices to a free chess basics class. Starting at 6:30 PM, this session will give you the essential insights into the game, giving you to a little boost before the upcoming tournament.

"At age five, I discovered my passion for chess when I saw chess hustlers playing blitz on a San Diego beach. Though my dad lost $10 that day, I gained a lifelong love for the game."
Rob has established multiple chess clubs and served as the President of BYU's Chess Club, where he expanded the membership from six to over 300. He's excited to further enhance the chess community with Chess Knight!
"For years, I've dreamt of creating the perfect chess club – one that is cool, organized, and enjoyable for players of all skill levels. Chess Knight is designed to showcase the captivating energy of the game and foster a community of players that feels like family."
Rob is currently completing his studies in Psychology and Business at BYU. He's a world traveler, a certified yoga and meditation instructor, a rock climber, and a people person.
